THE CAMEROON PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Hello people..Opportunity Alert!

CPS Scholarship program

In 2010, the Cameroon Professional Society, CPS, established the CPS Scholars Program to recognize the outstanding work being done by Cameroonian students in academics, community service, and athletics and in leadership.

The CPS is currently accepting applications for the 2016 CPS Scholars Program. This program seeks to nurture a new generation of Cameroonian leaders in business, law, education, health care, engineering, public service among a wide variety of sectors.

CPS Scholarships are awarded competitively on the basis of academic achievement, community service, demonstrated leadership and a commitment to support other young scholars in the future. Each scholar is teamed up with a partner in a particular area of interest, who serves as a mentor for the duration of the program.

Undergraduate university students of Cameroonian descent anywhere in the United States, as well as in Cameroon are eligible to apply. Each scholar in the US is awarded $500 and scholars in Cameroon are awarded $200 to be used for academic expenses at any accredited college or university of their choice.
